Our Mitsubishi Pajero (vehicle 13) has been converted into an evacuation vehicle for wounded soldiers.

Michael Roth bought a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport shortly before our departure for the seventh transport and donated it to the association. Once again, THANK YOU to Michael – your generosity is inspiring 😊. Michael R. also took the opportunity to drive the Pajero to Kyiv, together with Michael S. and Annette (and other vehicles, as we reported).

As we heard from the Dead Lawyers Society, the car is “in immaculate condition” and “a joy to work on”. The vehicle has received a complete camouflage paintjob and has been converted into an evacuation vehicle: Instead of five seats, there are now only three. The entire trunk floor is lined with a stainless steel sheet. This provides space for a rescue stretcher, which can be used for the horizontal transport of a wounded person. A surface with holders is mounted on the wall. It can hold emergency medicine and first aid equipment. This rescue vehicle is not armored, but it can at least pick up wounded persons outside of artillery range and quickly transport them to the nearest hospitals. An impressive video describing the result of the metamorphosis in detail has been published on Youtube.

It will soon be taken to the vicinity of Avdiivka by our friends at the Dead Lawyers Society. “Safe trip” you might say.
In February, we will bring another vehicle to Kyiv for the same purpose, this time a VW T5 Transporter, also with four-wheel drive.

Update February 2024: There is now a video available on Instagram that shows how the conversion was done. And Ruslan has taken the time to explain the features, see the video below. You guys rock. 💛💙
