Pickup4Ukraine says many thanks to Krempl – and to the audience!!!
The combo Krempl from Speyer gave a charity concert for us on April 19, 2024 in the Dreifaltigkeitskirche / Speyer 💛💙.
The audience was treated to a varied program including klezmer, blues and film music as well as popular evergreens. The enthusiasm and gratitude of the audience was evident in the joyful applause, clapping along and the volume of donations.
Pickup4Ukraine is very, very grateful to have received over EUR 2,000 for use in procuring medical supplies to rescue civilians and wounded soldiers. We were able to use this money to purchase medical supplies needed to stop critical bleeding – materials, which are not available in Ukraine and which save lives. Specifically, we were able to use the money to purchase junctional tourniquets (blocking arteries in the pelvic area) and so-called X-Stats (hemostatic devices for treating deep gunshot and shrapnel wounds). The recipients in Ukraine are very happy.
